Flashcards

Flashcards works like a card with a term and definition or image. On the first side of the card, the student will see the term of the Study Set. When the student clicks on the card, it will flip and display the term's definition on another side of the card. Students click on the audio button at the top left of the card to hear the words.

Flashcards are useful for introducing terms and definitions. Set the Study Set language for read-aloud pronunciation; available voices depend on the student's device. If you have added recorded audio to a term or definition, students can play that clip on its card.

Play modes

Supported content: Study Sets and Question Sets.

• Multiplayer (Classroom): The teacher launches Flashcards from the Classroom. Students flip and review cards in a shared round.
• Challenge: Two students play the activity in the deck and review the same cards.
• Single Player: A student opens the activity in the deck to flip and review cards independently.
• Solo Arcade: The student’s Solo chooser contains Arcade Games, so this Classic Game is unavailable there.
