What If Google Slides Will Not Import?

You can add Google Slides to a Slide Activity. An embedded presentation and a converted set of slide images behave differently.

Which option should I use?

• Embed the presentation when you want to display the Google Slides presentation. Check that students have permission to view it.
• Use Convert to Slide Images when you want separate slide images to place Slide Apps on. The images are a copy; later Google Slides edits do not update them.

What if it fails?

1. Check that you can open the file with the Google account you used to sign in to Deck.Toys. Insert from Google Drive requires a Google sign-in.

3. As an alternative, download your Google Slides as a PDF and add it with Upload Image / PDF / PPT. Preview the resulting slides before assigning the deck.

If an embed is blank on student devices, check viewing permissions and school resource restrictions.
